HERO 2, GoPro just upped the ante

Looks like video are about to get better.  This thing can change the field of view, has an external mic option and remote control.  Also a feature for 10 pictures a second.

Great! That means the HD version will get cheaper!

This was a much need feature. Hmm.... I might just have to put my current GoPro stuff up on eBay or something...

This GoPRo version looks interesting to me....may have to add Shooting from the Bars to my tour adventures. Drift Camera..............

There is a GPS unit coming soon as well. Tracks speed, height, downloads tracks to Google Earth, and can over lay the info on your video or edited in later  Has an extra battery as well for 5+hours recording time. And it will work with current HD models, all for under $100 they say. Should be here for Christmas...

Just got a Hero2!  REI (sporting goods store) had a deal for members.  Got it for 20% off.  They didn't have the motorsport version -- just the outdoor version, so I'll need some mounting stuff.  I took the savings and got the bacpac monitor so i can see what I'm shooting.   This oughta be fun.
