Hey guys,

Just thought I would share some pictures of my 2009 White vfr800.

This is my second VFR. I had a grey 2008 that I got into an accident with when an idiot turned in front of me from oncoming traffic... I was ok as I miraculously landed on my feet

Luckily I walked away with only a sore groin and a truck load of disappointment. The other driver was at fault so the insurance paid me out and the bike was a write off. Being that I was so in love with my 08. I purchased the 09. I had the opportunity to get the 1200 but I couldn't stand the new styling and shaft drive so I figured; why change something so good? So, I stuck with what I knew. But, don't get me wrong, if Honda produces a V4 sports bike I will sell the 800 and buy that thing quicker than your sister can say "It's not what you think!"

Mods to date:
Hindle aluminum slip-on with titanium mid-pipe (I managed to snag it off the 08 - doesn't quite look as nice on the white)
PC V (no auto-tune)
K&N drop-in filter
gt-yellow headlight films
HRC sticker (Casey Stoner said it added horsepower)
ZG racing screen (shortened with dremel)

Now, about that slantnose.... :ohmy:

lol, yes sir it's my dad's 1987 930 factory slantnose all original! has got about 60,000 km's on the clock. never restored, never painted, nothing. looks just the way it did when they were new. He's also got an 88 e30 M3 evolution that has been fully restored. In the pics you can also see a 1983 Honda cb1100f that he fully restored as well. I learned how to ride on that bike... It still scares the crap out of me. It's got a 4 in to 1 vance and hines full system (no baffles) and it sounds ridiculous! Like nothing you have ever heard before. No one makes bikes like Honda.

Also, since I've got your attention; Has anyone done front suspension and rear shock upgrades (no blackbird or cbr swaps, I mean elka's and ohlins systems) changes on their vfr-vtec's? If there is a thread on this, would you mind directing me in the right direction? Thanks! I'm about 200-205 lbs and really could use some more adjustments and a stiffer ride. I can feel myself getting quicker and lower into corners and feel that my suspension can't keep up.

That is a GREAT looking bike! I really like the white.

GREAT looking ride--I like the white. I also like the 4 wheel machine sitting right next to it! SWEET!

The triple tree panel has been painted black or you have the carbon sticker?

It came black on the 2009's. The fork bottoms, frame, triple clamps, discs etc... came all black as opposed to the silver found on the previous years. The only thing I painted was the instrument cluster fascia. It was a flat black and now its a piano high gloss black with white outlined lettering.

Fantastic! One of my fav color options for the 800, of course we can't get it here in the states. :sad:

I love that Black & White. Why can't we get that color scheme down south...? If I ever go and repaint mine, it will look just like yours but with black wheels. :smile:

Great looking bike and I love the Porche too! I've got a friend with a black 85 or 86 with the targa top, that thing is a blast to drive!

Thanks everyone. I'm actually thinking about gold wheels for this bike. I'm not sure if I should dump money into the carrozzeria's or just have mine painted. I think gold on white looks amazing. Any thoughts?
