I think almost everyone got stuck behind a lowrider VW or two at some point during TMAC 2011.

I found out why. http://southernworth....com/?page_id=2

They will be back next year, and these type of events grow every year just like ours. Just a heads up that they will be out in force...

*disclaimer - I am a former lowrider VW owner... I like them, but not when I'm behind them on my bike!

Yea we saw them going the opposite way on 60 after we did blood mountain. I think the caravan was about 3 miles long. Did not look any fun to me. Stuck in a traffic jam on some of the most beautiful roads in the country doing 30 mph.

Nothing a couple of 2x4's on the road won't fix when you see them coming.   :goofy:

I suppose it is still better than getting stuck behind several thousand road bikers like what happened to me a few months ago near Helen.

2x4? If a button fell of my shirt it would probably get stuck underneath some of those.
