After many attempts to video Cerro Noroeste Rd with out a camera issue i got it. We set out Dec 29th on a Pine Mountain loop out of Ventura. Roads where pretty clear and dry the whole route.
Enjoy the ride

Never a good idea to show the speedometer on video (especially if you live in the Socialist State of California) but it certainly looks like you had some fun.   :fing02:

Nice video, Jeff. That is a great road, gotta love it. :fing02:

I think it matters little what your speedo says there, it's BFE.
Very little traffic, few patrols between Frazier Park @ the 5 on the east, and the west end of the road.
Do what you want. Just my experience. :goofy:

Just don't crash anywhere out there. It takes forever to get a tow truck, based on a friends experience.
Lucky he wasn't hurt. An ambulance would also take a long time. It's BFE after all.

viffergyrl & I did that loop New Years Day. Very little traffic, and temps in the 70s. It was so clear you could see Soda Lake from the top of Cerro.

There's a reason it's known as Cerro No Arreste in certain circles, but we did see a polar bear CHP at Pine Mountain Club as we were getting ready to leave after lunch. Wonder what he was doing up there? Nice enough guy, but glad it was a social rather than business encounter.
