Hi all,

I've had one installed on my bike for about a year now.  Today when I went to start the bike, it flashed three red three times (as it's supposed to do in self-test mode) but then no other flashes of amber then green.

I had it connected to my fuse block so I tested a direct connection off the battery...same thing.

Has anyone had a similar failure of one of these?

Sounds like I'll have to get another one.  I saw a company in the UK that sells one very similiar...and about $10 cheaper.  Around $17 total including shipping.

If 1 year old, I'd drop a mail to SD customer department and ask them to comment....

Dutchy,  great minds think alike.  Did that before I posted this.  I will post their reply when I hear back from them.

I looked at one of those -  the green "good" range on it was 12.9 to 15.1 volts. Seems like you could miss a trend of what's happening. I decided to go with a direct voltage readout.  Went with the Lascar meter..

Any update?  Thinking of going that route instead of the Lascar.
