I'm quite slim and I found that the original seat was too big and slippy for comfort especially when wearing Rukka pants.
I had a local firm of upholsterers bring the hump forward 1.5" and scoop out to fit a gel insert. The material is very grippy and the seat is now perfect.
It's a narrow seat which actually has a different base unlike most lowered options that are the same base with some upper trimming.
Your bike looks fantastic Peter! The white version really looks amazing, shame we never got it in the States. I definitely foresee a paint job in my future!
I'm actually a fan of the stock saddle and have come to appreciate the firmness and slipperiness that some don't. My best test of it came on a 950 mile day. I was truly comfortable for 700 miles, which I've determined is my personal max for a day's ride. After doing that, the typical 200 to 400 mile sport rides I regularly do are a walk in the park. For sportier riding, the slippery seat makes it so easy to move around. You basically change position without even thinking about it.
Your seat guy did a great job, the design really matches the lines of the bike well. Congrats!
