Do you smile just because you are riding?

I was just riding on the east bound 101 freeway coming home from running an errand on my 1200F and realised the smile on my face was getting dangerously close to swallowing my face. :biggrin:

My smile sometimes doesn't fit in my helmet.

i wish ,its too cold for me to ride . :sad: maybe a few more weeks. :tour:

I get jawaches from smiling too much while riding :)

When everything is going right...YES!

Yep. And I still get that tickling feeling of excitement every time I start gearing up. It never gets old.

I remember when I bought my VFR 2-1/2 years ago, I couldn't stop smiling for the 3-hour ride home. I had enough trouble trying not to shout my lungs out in my helmet. That's a feeling I'll never forget, and I still smile every time I fire it up for a ride.

Can't wait for spring so I can start smiling again....

When riding and I am dialed in and focused it leaves me little room for thoughts about work, life or the problems of the world, it is amazing. There are few places in the world where that kind of peace happens for me. Even better is when I am riding with friends on the street or the track and everyone is in the right mind set, riding smooth and safe it is amazing and the smile hurts.

I've been riding, but smiles are only in between. Temps have been in the high 20's and low 30's, with rain, but as it's my only ride, I'll continue to commute. I do love it, but sometimes it's outright miserable.

I smile so much sometimes I break out into song!

On the way BACK I'm just trying to pull my unmentionables out from the wise :rolleyes:

Every single ride. I caught myself, in fact, screaming for joy inside my helmet when I was on the Nurburgring.

Always. I sometimes sing to him while riding.

Smiled for 4 hours today. Temps in the mid 70's with clear skies and empty roads because every one else was at work.

I believe you. My first trip to the track this summer was a Cornerspeed class at VIR. I did some screaming for joy.

The smile begins with starting the engine, gets bigger with rolling down the block. :fing02:

My intentions this past Sunday were to ride the 65 miles from my parent's home in the Black Forest area on the Palmer Divide to my home near Littleton in the warmth of the afternoon after spending the previous night with them. The afternoon turned into somewhat of a family party and I didn't hit the road until after 11 p.m. for my return trip. This IS January in Colorado after all! Their digital thermometer said 28º F just prior to mounting up for my ride that would take me past midnight on the road. Long johns, jeans, turtle neck, polar fleece, & my regular summer riding gear (pants/jacket/gauntlet gloves) from First Gear. It seemed pretty chilly at the 45 mph limit on the back roads and actually seemed warmer once I hit I-25 and held it at 80 mph on the highway. I felt like I was in a little bubble of space protected from the cold..............SMILING ALL THE WAY!!!

I smile when I'm not giggling in my helmet...

I had to get a helmet that's two sizes to big for me to have room for the smile and I use heavy-duty ear plugs so I don't have to listen to myself sing. Look up Smile Generation in the dictionary, you'll see pics of VFRs.

Yeah, I smile. I've got the bugs on my teeth to prove it.

I had to get a dark smoke shield to hide the big grin on my face when I ride so when I stop at a light people don't look at me funny.
