Looking at another Fly & Ride to attend this one. Have to see how things line up but I have the use of a F4i or 600rr in CO.

No lost keys this time!

Back at work, have to see if I can get time off and all that. Love to come and ride down and back with the gang from Canada. Stay tuned.

Just a heads up to all fence sitters, thinkers, consider-ers and those who (god forbid) haven't heard about the Summer Summit x2

Cut off for registration will be Friday July 13th.

Those registered will receive a confirmation email - making sure you are in, we have your shirt size, meal preference and such.

That's good to hear Ron!

I just recently had some things change with work that could potentially, if not possibly or somehow maybe allow me to think more clearly about making a committed though wavering decision as to attending...I hope. Keeping my fingers crossed. Will register on Monday.

#22

Well Chuck can't make it,so I will probably be riding up.Might try and tag along with Mark(kispeed) and Gary(gswanson) if they don't mind.

#23

Huckelberry and I are signed in, and the hotel was booked a long time ago.

It's definitely on the to do list on this years trip!

#27

List and room status updated. Registration closes in 4 days.

By way of a bump to remind last-minute registrants ...

Does anyone know if any of the fires burning in Colorado will impact possible ride routes--or Montrose, for that matter?

A friend who lives in Denver participated recently in the MS150 bicycle ride. They had to change the ride to avoid smoke and/or possible evacuation routes.

#29
there is a rider that lives in montrose that is going... Lets let him and HS chime in on these...

PS me and Jffver went to our local coffee shop and started planing dates to head down and a bit or routes...
One month peeps. :)

The local Honda dealer, Davis Service Centre is on board with great support and getting back to me on a tire deal.
Once I have the final numbers to him next week, he'll let me know what the deal will be - basically anyone riding in wanting new rubber installed - they'll be ready for you!
Local Brewery on board -- Horsefly Brewing!

Last chance - the registration link closes Sunday night.
#31
Ok, I just sent my $, still not sure if I can make it, but if I can at least I'm registered!
#32
You can add a +1 to my name. Friend of mine is coming along.
#33
Add my name to the list. Last minute sigh up, Better late then never.

Booked a room months ago, If anyone is interested in sharing let me know. Not an axe murder just a loud snorer.

Didit as soon as you hear anything please post this up as im on the fence weather to get new before or swap out once there. (curious on the pricing for new PR3 front and back.
#36
SumSum has attracted lots of great riders !! Must admit I keep looking on the list for Choco and Veefer800canuck...hoping they can make it happen as well !!
#37
Didit,

It really is official. With the injury I have to my leg/knee, and only being to ride about 2 hours before the pain begins, and not wanting to pop Tyl# 3 and muscle relaxers while on the bike. I will not be able to make it to the meet. The items I have for door prizes are on the way, you should see them Thursday.

SumSum 2015.....

Hopefully see you in Kelowna on the Sept long weekend. Ride Safe all.

Thanks for the thought, but no go this time! :-(

Life isn't allowing for it this year.

Just got back from Castlegar for the weekend though. Did the 31a from New Denver to Kaslo 3 times. Yee haw!
#39
Gerry, too bad you arent going either. Enjoyed having lunch with you last week. BC was great, weather and roads were perfect!! Bike ran great apart from losing my (last ever) hated Sylvania Silverstar high beam filament.
#40
Man, really sorry this had to happen to you Gerry. Was really looking forward to hanging out with you down there and riding more together.

I guess there's always trips / riding / wrench session closer to home; hope the leg heals up for you soon.

You are probably making the right choice: suffering with it or taking lots of drugs to get by; both are lousy choices.

Get well soon!
