Can anyone tell me what the spacers for the front fork springs measure (at least in length( for the 6th gen VTEC??

Many thanks in advance fellow Veefers.

I believe they're officially called "Spring Collars"

Sorry, dunno.  But not real useful information except for use with OEM springs, methinks?

Ciao,

I'm thinking the Vtec is just shy of 6" maybe 148 mm or so. Sorry had them all mixed together and wasn't sure if it was a 5th or 6th gen spacer.

I have found only one reference to this on VFRD and the guy said it measured 10 cm... hope that's accurate...

If you are using 320mm long aftermarket springs then your original spring spacers are perfect - no need to make new ones.  This applies only to the 02+ VFR800 by the way!

2005  ,with abs if that makes a difference,  exactly 10 cm.
Just waiting for the rain to stop for more than just a day here in SW BC.

Whatever you do, do not match the overall length of your stock springs and spacers.  I realize that many instructions included with aftermarket springs will say to do this, but it's incorrect.  If you have chosen the correct spring rate you will need 15-17mm of initial spring preload.  In the case of the 02+ VFR's using 320mm long aftermarket springs a spacer length of 100mm (10cm) is exactly what you need.
