vf700/750 frame with a single sided swing arm?

just curious if anyone has tried this   i have a 92 sss and was thinking of buying an 86 750 frame and moding it   can it be done without a whole bunch of bs  thanks

One of our members tried converting an '86 to SSSA, cut the frame, welded in a new shock mount, couldn't get everything to line up, chain, wheel centerlines, etc.

He wound up cutting the frame again and going back to standard.

See this link, and notice the finished pics at the bottom, bike is wearing the standard '86 swingarm.

Yep,  if I remember correctly,  for him to do what he did it required the death of a virgin and 5 miracles from assorted Gods.

He used a VFR800 swingarm and pretty much detailed spacers/etc needed. It seemed pretty straightforward overall.
