RC30 rear shock on 4th gen?

Hey guys,

I've acquired an RC30 (race?) shock.

Does anyone know if this would fit a 1994 VFR without modification?

The shock is missing a spring and lower spring seat, but I think I can hopefully scavenge from another shock (maybe my the original?).

I attached a pic of the markings on the bottom of the shock body.

It won't fit, the lower mount is an eyelet on the 4th gen shock, while the RC30 uses a clevis as shown in your pic.

Ring up Jamie Daughertry! I bet he could *make* it fit!

That's an old WP shock for sure.  Converting the lower mount to work on your VFR would be possible.  It would require a special lower mount.  That's definitely something I can help you with.  Shoot me an email if you want more info!
