I understand that the circular 'punch-out' on the left side fairing beside the tank is for the factory analog clock (someone correct me if I'm wrong). But I have never seen one. If anybody's got one out there for a reasonable price I might be interested, but at least if you have a pic could you please share it. If I know what it looks like maybe I can find something that works.[image: Attached File]

Euro bikes had a fuel petcock installed there. Before this forum existed there a VFR email list and someone there sold a clock kit for bikes without the petcock. Unless someone here has one you'll have to do your own research to find something that fits.
The clock was an optional Hondaline accessory in the 'States, standard everywhere else (as were the center stand and the rear cowl).
As every set of "clocks" (instruments) in the UK came with one, you can find them on eBay.uk, but beware that a lot of them have quit working by now...
The round voltmeter-in-the-cowl was a standard 2 1/8" VDO gauge, ISTR. Honda Marine also makes gauges that might fit--and they say "HONDA" on them! However, I don't think the Honda Marine VDO gauge is made any more. They have similar-looking black gauges from other manufacturers, though.
I purchased the VDO kit many years ago from a lister named David Matthews (IIRC) on the VFR list. Below is a cut/paste of the email he posted to the list. Not sure this is of any help but I still do have the kit and it has served me well.
Clocks are $85.00 plus $5.00 shipping in the USA
Clocks are $85.00 plus $8.00 shipping in Canada
Clocks are $85.00 plus $15.00 shipping in Europe (ask first)
**If you are ordering a deluxe "VFR lister Package" 1 cap, 1
sweatshirt, 1clock combo: The total package is $119.50. That is $10.00 off.
Shipping is: USA-$10.00, Canada $15.00, Foreign $20.00 (ask first)
All models are round analog gauges. The back-lit illuminates the
pointer(white) and numbers(white) just like the stock instruments.
The clock is about 2 inches in Diameter and fits into the hole on the
leftside upper fairing where the petcock resides on the "Euro"
'90-93 HONDA VFRs. The back lit version of the clock matches the style of
the stock gauges as looks as if it were designed from the factory. The
clocks will fit most any motorcycle application but the instructions are geared
toward mounting on a VFR.
The benefit of the "Kit" is that all the connectors and
instructions are supplied . No scratching your head trying to read the wiring
diagram out of your shop/clymer manual. The instructions are step-by-step
specific forthe VFR.
Comes in kit form with instructions.

Thanks all! My solo seatcover is here now and just needs a repaint. Center stand should be shipping out today (thanks to 'taglicious' here on VFRD). Now I just need to find me one of these gauges.
In my 93 the clock has died and I also looked for the replacement but the original would have cost more that 200€ ($280), so I found the whole gauge set from German eBay for 90 €.
