Damn, I wish you were doing this a week later!  I can't make this one, but I'm definitely down for this loop some other time.

I sorta figured this might be a difficult one for most people to make, being Mother's Day and all.  I see it as a wide open day for riding with minimal traffic!

A VFRD ride in southern CA?!?!?!?!

Figures it'd be a on a day I can't go.

Hoping to meet some VFRD members soon (probably at Laguna Seca).

Have a great ride! That's a beautiful loop. I like to take that road after leaving Palomar and ride the long way home back to Irvine.

I'll see what I can do for the following Saturday as well.  We'll need to take it easy on Upper Big T as police presence will be higher than normal.  Two bikes down this past weekend.  Both airlifted.

The following Saturday is the middle of a 3-day weekend for me. Was thinking of heading down to San Diego for the day on Friday, stay the night in downtown, then head back home Saturday through Julian, Palomar, and Ortega.

the bike is over at race tech getting the forks redone.  doubtful for me at this point...

in case anyone reads this, tomorrow morning is a go.  See you at 8am.  We'll be stopping at 138/15 to top off the tanks, so have at least 1/2 tank at the meetup!
