'Home Base' is here:
Gold Country Campground Resort
13026 Tabeaud Rd.
Pine Grove, CA 95665
You will find fairly complete directions here: http://www.goldcount...directions.html
NOTE: There is a large billboard pointing to 'Roaring Camp Railroad' at the corner of Hwy 88 and Tabeaud Rd. Can't miss it!
For those who have not been to one of these events before, Doe and I try to be good 'hosts'; but if you are a soft drink person, bring your own. We will bring some decent beer and bottled water both Friday evening and for Saturday's BBQ.
On Friday evening we will bring pizzas from Pine Grove pizza (pretty good stuff) at around 6:00 pm. Saturday we will be stopping someplace for lunch during the ride. Saturday evening we will be bringing a Weber to the site, along with enough chicken legs and sausages to feed everyone, plus salads of some kind and condiments. The feast will commence some time after 5:30, and will end when all the food is consumed or y'all pass out. ;)
We've not had much luck trying to do anything on Sunday morning; but the Sierra House restaurant is till there in Pine Grove, just a few minutes away.
Looking forward to meeting y'all on Friday afternoon!
