FI light on, speedo doesn't register - Electrical

FI light is stuck on, and speedo doesn't register, just a big 0.  Is it as simple as speedo nut is needing replacement.  Is the bike ok to ride otherwise?

Happened this morning, riding along speedo went to 0, FI light came on steady shortly thereafter.  Turn bike off, restart and light off, begin going speedo at 0, light comes on 20 seconds later...wtf?

Put bike on center stand, kickstand up, light goes off, while running, kickstand wiggle and light on and off....

Theres a white coupling that goes from speed sensor to the sprocket nut and it wallows out over time, if its not spinning that would give no  readout.  Or could be the speed sensor itsself.  The kick stand sounds like a seperate issue , that would normally cause the bike to cut out.

My little white coupling broke completely off.
The bike did not run right after the Fi light came on.

Everything was fine once I replaced the sensor.
It was like 20.00 shipped from Ebay.

All is good, pulled 30 amp fuse, put back in, move some wiring around, nothing amiss...  Pulling the fuse seems to have cured it.  Fast test ride, speedo on and no lights.  More to hopefully not follow.
