My grandson's '83 VF750F is dripping oil from the countershaft seal. I am unable to find the seal on the parts supplier's fiches. Where am i going wrong???

You may have luck removing the seal, finding the measurements cast into the rubber seal and sourcing a replacement from an industrial bearing house, or a heavy truck/equipment/agricultural repair place.
It may say something like 59x38x7 which is the dimensions in millimeters. (just pulling numbers out of a hat)
Be sure to get a seal with the same number of lips. Don't replace a double lip seal with a single lip, etc.
Thanks. I might have to do that as I still haven't been able to locate the seal.
