Here's a couple of pics of my grandson's '83 VF750F, got it on the road Friday. It runs great, cleaned up very well. A few paint chips and light scratches, but came out OK.  Here's what we've done so far:

1. Cleaned carbs, installed new float needles & seats & fuel screws
2. Checked rocker clearances, all spot on, some minor pitting on a some cam lobes, nothing serious.
3. Installed a pair of Duro HF918s
4. Installed new brake pads all around
5. Flushed brake and clutch fluids
6. Cleaned and reoiled the K&N air filter
7. Oil & filter change

Thanks IC.  Needless to mention, the grandson is quite taken with the 750. He has been trying to talk me out of the 500 for some time, but now, he barely gives it a glance. BTW, I am somewhat envious of the Trapps.
