Electrical Schematic Help - Electronic Cruise Control Install

I am preparing to install an electronic cruise contol on the Big Viffer. I am taking the bike from New Hampshire to Seattle, Washington and back next month. The cruise will be a life saver on some of the long stretches of slab I'm going to encounter along the way.

I believe this will be the last mod I am going to make to the bike. It is also the most challenging. Hacking into the stock wiring harness makes me a bit nervous. So, I'd appreciate as much insight as I can get before splicing wires.

The cruise control unit is GlobalCruise from Rostra. It is the same unit Polaris supplies from the factory on their Victory products. I'm comforted in the knowledge that a motorcycle manufacturer includes these as standard equipment on their bikes.

Here is the list of connections I need to make. Some are obvious and easy. Others are a bit more cryptic.

A: Black - ground wire (solved)
B: Brown - accessory power (solved)
C: Red - brake positive (connected to brake light +)
D: Violet - brake negative (connected to brake light -)
E: Dark Blue - tachometer (unsolved)
F: Gray - Vehicle Speed Sensor (VSS) (unsolved - front or rear ABS speed sensor?)
G: Light Green - Neutral Safety (NSS) (connected to gear indicator)
H: Orange - Enable Output (ENO) (unsolved)

The ENO is a mystery to me. I'm not sure what it does or if I need it. "The ENO function allows you to use the GlobalCruise as a driver for an external wheatlamp connected to a V+. THE ENO will drive low when the system is engaged and to a high impedance state otherwise. This wire terminates in the harness." Does this drive the LED that tells me the cruise is engaged?

The items in red are wires I haven't located on the wiring schematic. Any help would be appreciated.

The VSS that the Rostra calls out might be the VSP (Vehicle Speed Pulse) on the Honda diagram. It is a P/G (pink & green) wire that goes to the combo meter & middle connector block on the ECM, on the ST1300 the output is 5V. Once you find it on the bike you need to read the output to determine the number of pulses it outputs per kilometer. Then you would adjust the DIP switches on the Rostra to get in that range (Rosta instructions Pg 8). If the output is too high like it is on the ST1300 (72,000 pulses/km) then you are going to need to hook up a pulse divider to get it in the proper range.

I don't have a clue what the combo meter is. Does the voltage determine the outputs per kilometer (5V/72k)? I don't know how to test that either.

It looks like Bazazz uses the rear speed sensor for their engine management product. I notice they have an accelerator on it. Can I use this for my VSS? It is easy to find.

Okay,

I am having success! I have checked multiple sources and here is what I learned and verified.

These come out of the combo meter and terminate in a large connector under the left hand side front fairing. I'm going to connect there since it is the easiest location to reach. I'm using the neutral gear indicator wire because it is convenient and serves the same purpose (letting the CC know the bike is in neutral).

Pink/Green is = vehicle speed sensor - VSP (VSS)
Yellow Green = tach - TACO
Light Green/Black = Neutral gear indicator lamp

If anyone knows otherwise please let me know before I hook these up.

I looked at my schematic in the Honda manual - I think you got it sorted out correctly!

How did it turned out ???

I am prepared to add a CC on the viffer, McCruise is too expensive,

Is the Rostra a good choice ?
