I know this is a long shot, but I'm interested in doing a replica of the Rumi RC30 and I'm having a difficult time trying to find an auto paint code for that obnoxious shade of purple on the bike. I've already had a look through the PPG Vibrance paint line, and found nothing close. Any thoughts?
Obnoxious yes. The Rothmans or Castrol liveries look much better, but I suppose they've been done to death.
I've always liked the Rumi RC30's, I've wanted to paint my track bodywork like that for a while but I'm just now getting around to doing it. I like the Rothmans too, it's my second choice, but it's been done several times already. I've only seen a few that are done up in Merkel/Rumi colors.
So anybody got a paint code, or suggestions on how to get the right color? I've actually emailed Team Rumi through their website a couple of times, but never heard back from them.
