So after buying the VFR earlier in the year I've done 2 x +150 mile roundtrips amongst the Irish country lanes and I can tell you my wrists were hurting at the end of each run. I tour with my wife. I'm 45, 6ft and 196lbs but I still struggled with the standard VFR set up.
Previous bikes were the Blackbird and then CB1300SA so I thought this would be slap in the middle but its more Blackbird than CB by a long way!
I've just had the bike converted to the ABM risers and bar and completed a 100 mile journey. WOW, what a change. Whilst the ride feel is a little different - you call tell there's a through bar and not two individuals I found the handling just as comfortable and effortless.
