Tach Glass Replacement - Sixth Generation VFR's

Hello, when i got my bike the speedometer glass was cracked, it bothers me just to look at it as almost everything on the bike is perfect and this triggers the OCD in me, is there any way to take the tach apart to replace the glass or i am in order for a complete unit (tach, speedo and temp...) ?? What will happen to the bikes mileage how can i set my current mileage to the new (probably used from another bike) unit?

Pretty sure Honda sells the dash/instruments cover by itself. Check Ron Ayers on-line fish

They show two, not sure of the differance?
