Feeling Sorry For California Riders

Today is our first really warm day in Colorado to get out and blow the cob webs out of the pipes. As I was rolling back into our cul-de-sac, I couldn't wipe the grin off of my face. It was at that moment that I realized that the poor people in places like California that can ride every day of the year never get to feel like this. Every day for them is like another warm beer. They never get that "finest whiskey" kind of day. To all of you year 'round riders - - - I'm sorry for your loss. Maybe if you chained your bike up in the garage for 3 months and THEN went for a ride, you would experience the TRUE JOY of motorcycling! :wheel:

Jealosy will get you nowhere. You know how I get that feeling...I just switch bikes! Nice day for a VFR ride yesterday, next time it'll be the Duc. Oh what a feeling!

That ain't all of California. We often have to wait for the snow and ice to melt here. In the good part of California. And we have all the good roads here. No straight-aways here!

You gunna buy me a cage to drive for those three months?

I'll send you a bus token. THAT will make you appreciate a good ride!

Three months?  Try five or six!  Don't you think that woud create greater joy?  :goofy:

I parked in October and spent time today digging out my driveway out of knee deep snow drifts courtesy of yet another blizzard.

*Ouch!*  Thought we didn't go below the belt here!

Mailman speaks the truth though.  It would take approximately an hour and a half by bus to accomplish what I can do in 20-30 minutes in a POV.

I rode all 5 bikes today. It was 72 degrees. The weather god is playing with us, though. It's still the first of March.

This post reeks of something we don't have here in California (but they do in Colorado's vineyards): sour grapes!
