Does anyone know where to get that plastic tubing / sheath material that Powerlet uses to cover the wiring in their kits?  It's thin and flexible, but tough enough to protect wiring from heat and friction.  It seems to come in different diameters for single and multiple wires.

Most auto parts stores carry material for this flexible cloth like or plastic protectors

The braided stuff won't give the same oil/abrasion resistance although I love the braid for some applications.  Be sure to post back when you get the stuff from McMaster Carr...I have been lightly looking for a source as well.

That is the braided stuff...pretty neat as it expands quite a bit like chinese finger cuffs.  I like to use it with a bright color underneath to get a dual-color look when building headphone cables etc.

McMaster-Carr,(as already mentioned), is my favorite supplier. Fast, reasonable, good quality and almost at the point where; if they don't have it you may not need it.  R3~
