This winter I swapped the OE shock for an Ohlins.  During the removal, I removed the adjuster knob as recommended in the Service Manual.  As I am loosening the screw holding the adjuster knob in place I am surprised by the amount of resistance that the little phillips head screw is giving.  All of a sudden it breaks free, or so I thought... As I pull the screwdriver away from the adjuster, I notice that the screw head is hanging on the end of the screw driver - yes, I sheared the screw.  At the same time the adjuster knob pops off of the adjuster - bye bye locking ball...  I would like to get this thing back together so that I can sell it.  So here are a few questions:

Question 1: what is the diameter of the locking ball?

I need to find a replacement.

I have since drilled a small hole in the broken screw, inserted an easy-out and tried to remove the screw.  Again, I feel significant resistance, to the point that I am afraid that I'm going to break the small easy-out.  I plan to use a little heat and see if the darned thing will release.

Question 2: does Honda use thread adhesive on this screw?

If not, this thing is bound up for some reason...  Any other suggestions for getting the screw extracted?

TIA
