#1 Like This Thread starter 5 May 2013 Damn damn damn,
Last Thursday I went flat over a soda-can on the road.
As my tires where due for replacement anyway (BT-016 with 25000km on them) I replaced them with BT-020 (rear) and BT-016 (front).
This package was a good deal because they bought the 020 in bulk so the price was low.
And the ride with that set was good until this morning!
I went into my shed to get my bike, but it wouldn't move.
ANOTHER FLAT! Turns out I hit a big nail in the rear the other day and it went out of air during the night.
Oh well, I have to get a new one today in the shop (luckily my son is mechanic there!).
I just did less them 200 kilometer with the new one, have to replace it again.
That will be another 120 euro down the drain.
Anyone else got such bad luck?

#3 Like This Thread starter 5 May 2013 Not with my bike but with one of cars. Quite a few years ago I was doing work near a construction site and I happen to pick up nails in at least three tires, not at the same time though, all were fixable so I didn't have to buy new tires, but it still cost me money to get fixed.
#4 Like This Thread starter 5 May 2013 I told my wife to do some extra time at her work for the next few weeks if this happens again, luckily she agreed :cheerleader:
#5 Like This Thread starter 5 May 2013 Yep me too, not the Viffer but the KLR, roofing nail, rear . Sucks, tube tyre too.
