Anyone stateside ever bought bags from David Silver in the UK? Wondering how much shipping ended up being and how long the delivery took (total overseas shipping n00b)? The US store doesn't have bags in stock currently, but the UK store does. I'm debating on whether or not to be patient and wait for the US store to get them back in stock or go ahead and order from across the pond.

I can't help you with David Silver, but I bought a set of white bags for my 2009 VFR from Honda of Bournemouth just over a year ago. The set cost me £559.91 (they had a 10% off sale) and shipping was an additional £125, and they took 6 days to arrive at my home on the west coast of Canada.I dunno about availability but If the prices haven't haven't changed it would cost you about US$1040.

When I ordered mine several years ago they cost $500 including shipping plus they arrived within a few days. I wouldn't hesitate ordering from them again.
I noticed the US site bumped the price by $100 since I bought mine last month. Glad I bought when I did! $17 shipping and I had them in 2 days.
I bought a set about three weeks ago, they have a warehouse in the US that the bags came from. Very happy with them., I'm in florida

Shame neither of the sites have 05 Silver, despite being on the website, but marked as Temporarily Out Of Stock (For the last 3 years, I'll bet.)
The 03 silver is out of stock also....we went with the black from the 06 model I believe....they also had the 08 sword silver bags available....you can remove the cover for the Givi's and paint them to match if you want.

The black looks good with any color. I was lucky as mine is red and they had the red in stock. If they had not then I'd have used the black ones. At $514 to the door it is a great buy.
I went with the black ones as well, as the 05 red are no longer (or at least weren't when I ordered) listed. Completed the install this past week and could not be happier. Combined them with the SW-Motech trunk rack and can't wait to get another trip on the calendar.
