Hello,

Been riding my 2011 vfr 1200f for almost 2 years now....well where do I start? Do I love it, or do I want to trade it on something and then regret later? I have been sponging information off this site for a while now, so I finally broke down and took the time to register. It was raining and I could not ride.

In looking at many of the treads, I can relate to most of the owners here. I get the gear pop out once in a while...but it's my lazy shifting....on my 3 rd front tire and fourth rear.....currently running a Pirelli angel gt up front and st on the rear....trying to cook rear to get a matching set.....right now loving the front gt as its uber stable and giving me new confidence in the rain/wet.

I recently put on the z-bomb and I feel like a 13 year old kid with a nudie magazine......woke the bike up and I am no longer in the doldrums of which gear in the curves....2nd is my new centerfold.

Also did the flapper mod...Now my friends with their Ducati don't tease me at stop lights....did not matter much as I can destroy them in a drag race any day of the week....but liking the sound anyways.

Put on the helibars the first week of ownership.....never rode the stock bars...so can't comment....got a set of Cnc levers....they help ....oh on the helibars....tight fit...I got them barley rubbing on both sides of the windscreen ...but I like a little more leverage at higher speeds and in the curves...

Top speed... I have seen 255 kph...on an downhill long stretch full tuck.....but she ain't got nothing more...
I can power wheelie in first at a whim...and can lift the front in second, but under full load and only in a drag race type scenario...

Handling is good, but the sport bikes do leave me in the canyon type stuff....I am about 180 pounds and running the front rebound 4 clicks from full hard... Factory preload setting...On the rear, running the pre load 3 clicks from full hard....and the rebound at about 75 percent of its range....so she's a little on the stiff side .......but still finding the limits of the new front gt, so settings subject to change.....

Seat....comfortable enought, but had a custom seat cover made.....as the OEM was slick......too slick....now have a non skid rubber type....I do have to lift a bit to transition in curves, but I get to take full advantage of the hp and torque upon exit....

All in all, it's been a great bike, my bike before was a vrod, that was built, and had mid pegs and had suspension work done....but at the end of the day, it was still a red light red light bike.....this one is hella fast, tours well, and I am not too far behind in the corners......

I can post some pics.....south Korea is one of the best riding places on earth in my humble opinion. I have been all over America, but there are several roads tha match the dragon, and mullholland , and some other the other good ones as well. The other thing is all cop c ars are 4 bangers.....not that I ever break the speed limit.

Welcome Brandon

I get to visit SK about once/twice a year.

Do they still prevent motorcycles on the highways there?

The backroads are better... in most cases.

Got to drive a Veloster out to Seoraksan last year.

There are some awesome roads out that way.

Motorcycles are not allowed on the highways .....still......this is what happens when a car manufacturer is calling the government shots......as long as Hyundai does not make bikes....we're not riding on the highway.........just as well though.....driving a cage on the highway scares me......drivers here be crazy......I have done it a few times illegally .........man did it seem as people in beaters we gunning for me...........if they smash me......I'd be at fault.........
