They may be changing the name from Speed to Fox1 but if the quality of information in this article is any indication they are just as inept as they ever were...and btw, Ralph Shaheen is back... :3:

If you are going to mention what state Freddy Spencer is from you should get it right.

You may also want to know where Ben Spies hails from since you put that little tidbit in the article.

Now might be a good time to learn to count as well when telling us about the 2 Americans that compete in MotoGP (either that or you believe that Nicky has been sacked mid-season and wont be racing for Ducati for the rest of the year...)

Ducatti??  I wood aplie four the proofreeders job if I thoot they knew what that wus!!

Ralph Sheheen, Scott Russell, Greg White.  The three most annoying motorsports voices on the planet.  Too bad they don't broadcast on the radio or I'd be watching the video feed from Speed/Fox1 with the sound off and listening to the commentary on the radio like I've done with Cardinals and Braves baseball for decades.

Tennessee is kinds near Kentucky methinks. But yeah, they should have put a smidgen more research into that.

IIRC, they got Nicky right (Owensboro, KY) and said Spies was from TN instead of TX, but that's ok, I will adopt him.

That would almost be excusable...

"...2006 titlist Nicky Hayden - the last U.S. rider to win a MotoGP World Championship in the sport's premier category. He recently lost his ride when Ducati made a switch prior to last month's round in Monterey, Calif."

Followed up by Spies and Edwards being the only Americans...that's just bad.

I respect Scott Russell, but an announcer's voice, he does not got.  When he speaks it sounds like a big bag of dicks.

Greg White is awful.

Glad I have a MotoGP.com subscription so I don't have to listen to the "yank" coverage as it's absolute shit.

Velocity had some pretty good coverage of the IOM TT, but they probably don't have anywhere near the budget to even get a lowball bid in for broadcasting rights.

If only you could mute the commentating, then SPEED would be bearable, if nothing else. I don't need to be reminded that if the guy is in second place, then he isn't going to win the race.
