Here is my 7th Gen Honda VFR with a new set of mounted Givi E41's. I am using a set of SW-Motech racks with the EVO quick connects. The mounting points are hard bolted to the bike and the quick connects pop on with a quarter turn from a screw driver. Lockable quick connects are available and will be added later. Next project is going to be a set of Admore Lighting Bi-color tail lights which will be mounted inside the Givi red reflectors. Road tested this afternoon for about 50 miles. Except for seeing them in the mirrors the bike acted like they were not even there. No wind drag what so ever. Getting ready for a European ride. Amsterdam, Germany, Belgium, Luxembourg, France, and Southern England heading north.
I went with the E41 for two reasons. The biggest was size. I can haul more with the E41 and get 2 full face helmets. Plus its got keyless combinatons for when I just want to open the top lid for something quick.
Finally got the admore lighting installed in the Givi E41 side cases. flush mounted insise the reflectors. Fully functional and come with quick disconnect wiring.
I've got the same bags on my 5th gen. I've lived out of them for four weeks on a camping trip. They invite carrying more stuff. Since I was a Boy Scout "Be Prepared" is my scheme.
The lights went from being a nicety to a requirement once the side cases went on. I was really concerned about people on highways not seeing my turn signals when trying to change lanes, especially with cars on my direct sides where the driver may be looking more forward than on the sides. These fit the bill nicely. They come with a brake light triple flash modification as standard but I requested it be removed. They are an easy company to work with. http://admorelighting.com/store/
The admorelights sure do look great, but boy are they proud of their wares! A lot of guys buy LEDs on SMD flex strips and stick them behind the existing lenses on the GIVI luggage. youtubes has quite a few tutorials. I am gonna do that when I get around to it. You do have to come up with your own connectors and run wires.
Yeah Volfy i have seen that too with the connectors and stuff. What really sold me on the was youtube and all the videos people were sharing on their own. I know jack about electrical stuff, especially bike electrical, so i leave it to the pros. Plus as an added convenience, all Admore wiring kits and connectors in place are interchangeable with any other Admore kit. Meaning if i wanted to go OEM or a set of V35's later I can change the panniers, disconnect the quick sets and hook on a set of wired panniers and Im good to go. My god are the things bright. The pics just dont show it.
