Hello From Ohio

Just picked up a new to me 03 VFR, bikes a cherry! Anyway not much of a street biker, I primarily ride/race dirt and do some dual sporting, got the bug this year to hit the tarmac and this VFR caught my attention.

I do need some luggage, my question is to i buy the factory bags from silver, or do I buy givi bags, any benefit to one over the other? any other hard luggage options out there?

I think looks (of the cases themselves or the mounting hardware for when you are not using the panniers) will be your main decider....

Both OEM and GIVI are well made.

What brand/type is that rear tyre?

its a dunlop D616, supposed to be similar to a motogp wet race tire, All I know is the general opinion is its a great wet weather fire road tire that wears out fast..LOL!! my luck.

Hello and welcome. Where are you located? I'm going to assume somewhere in the southern half. Not much dirt riding in the north.

I'm a Givi user for about 14 years. Very satisfied.

Welcome to the asylum. I've had great experience with Givi also. I believe Givi makes the oem hard bags also. I have lived out of the V41 s for five weeks. And they do pretty well as frame sliders! (blush) They've also taken a firm bump from a woman-not-paying-attention-driving-a-large-SUV. One could say they take a lickin' and keep on clickin'.
