Does Anybody Own The Acumen Dgv Gear Indicator/voltmeter?

Hey all.

I'm looking into getting one and would like any real world feedback possible from someone with a VFR that has or has had one. I currently have their gear indicator and like it and want to install a voltmeter asap so I like the idea of the combo they offer.

I found one guy on the forum who posted pics a while back and sent him a PM but he hasn't been around in a while so I don't know how that will turn out.

Anyways, thanks a lot in advance for any help with this.

its great the gear indicator works great and the volt meter is easy to read while riding also.

its a good piece of mind to see the voltage while rideing with the problem with regulators that play up on these bikes.

and very easy to wire up all in the dash unit.

you wont regrete it nice all in one unit.

i got mine on ebay but havent seen them listed lately.

They do seem to be discontinued as they no longer appear on Acumen (or Acutrac now)'s website.

I' m going to go for it. I like the clean look and the fact that it is non intrusive.

I don't have what you are inquiring about but I do have a Veypor VR2 that I like quite a lot, when I use it.   I rarely hook it up but I leave the harness in place for when I want to. It will monitor what gear you are in, battery voltage and much, much more.

I don't think they make the VR2 anymore, but they do sell a VR3 now.

Just throwing out another option.

Those VR2 and VR3 units are really nice but more than what I need and wish to pay for. Maybe some day.

I have bought my Acumen DGV and will follow up with feedback once mounted and tested, in case somewhere down the line another one pops up and someone is interested.
