I like the post interview

"How'd it feel?"

"Rich, but it ran." Man still has his head on the business end of things.

150 hp, 200lbs

wow

Rides the downhill chicane and very leisurely waves while navigating through it.  Doesn't even phase him.

#5

The  old  bike  definitely  needed  some  work    but  the  old  rider  was  great  .

#7

Those bikes were very evil to ride flexxy and always wanting to spit you off .

I cooked for him and jr once.
Was a chef in Sydney for 12 years, out of all the places he could've eaten where he wouldn't t be recognised, his waitress grew up at Phillip Island and her dad helped build the track, the hostess son had a KR jr replica paint job so she recognised the name, and 2 bike mad sous chefs running the kitchen that night.

Well, I was cookin' on the Yamaha that I chased Kenny around the track on at Laguna a few decades ago...  Just couldn't pass the little squirt...

But, that was on the YSR50 course that Yamaha used to set up in the parking lot with hay bales and you could stand in line and ride them,

and I was chasing a 10 year old Kenny Jr.    :laughing6-hehe:

I was 40 or so and my CG could not match his around those tight turns.   Pretty embarrassing.  :blush2:   But at least I was on the track with a Kenny Roberts!!!
