Have been thinking if riding from my home in St. Pete (Tampa Bay Area ) to barber museum for the heck of it, maybe time it trip so I am there for vintage festival. Last year did my longest road trip, went up coast and thru defunick springs and then back east and home thru Ocala national forest. Rode about 1000 miles in three days so not an ironbutt guy. Seems like 300miles a day is about perfect for me. I try to not super slab it and poke along stopping at things that seems interesting. Any advice for routes to get back to Tampa from Birmingham assuming I go up coast on way there? Would love to cruise up the BRP and ride tail of dragon and Cherolhola again but not sure I can get that much time off work and $$. (Gonna hotel it)
