Horn Hiccup Issue Help Needed

When engaging my horn the bike hiccups. Tested in a tunnel and lights do not dim or blink, it’s a motor hiccup. Any thoughts?

The horn is bad.  

Take your meter and measure the resistance a cross the coil .  It just a speaker .

I know exactly what you are talking about. My '98 did the same. It was a bit of a hesitation for a quarter second when hitting the horn. It was obvious that something was goofy in circuit so a way out without a lot of pain was to isolate the horn. -- I installed a relay in the circuit and while I was at it, I did add a larger horn. -- No more "hiccups".  I found a good place to mount the relay is on the front fairing stay. -- I did a thread awhile back, I'll post the link once I find it. ---Link was deleted, some pics

One of my Y2Ks does this same thing. Just a slight rpm drop. I fixed it by not using the horn!
