Are there such a thing? I've found myself removing the fairings during these first few months of ownership much more than I care to, and with all that on and off it certainly cant be good for the blots, threads, or the fairing paint for that matter.

are there any kits that replace all the stock mounting hardware with pins, much like a track bike?

Short answer is yes, but usually requires modification/adaption of the receiving end of the pins, I.e. The existing bolt hole.

Dzus are very popular, these are the 1/4 turn fasteners. Although they can be found all over the Internet, Kurveygirl.com does have them.

yeah! that's totally what I'm looking for. Does anyone use these on their 6th gen? I have no idea which set would be the appropriate one to buy or how i would go about the install.... Some of the anchor points on the side fairings are not ideal for such a setup...

curious as well on the 1/4 turn fasteners.  Linky to the correct ones would be nice!  :smile2:
