Hey guys. Just got a new to me 86 vfr700 today. Was told by a member from another forum to drop in here (Its me vanion). Well so far the bike needs a little repair to some of the fairings and some missing hardware replaced. Also sounds like the top end may need adjustment as its a little noisy. Also any pointers on what i need to look out for and what i can do with the 86 would be greatly appreciated.

Welcome to VFRD from across the pond
+1 on the picture...
Welcome Aboard! Just like with any used bike, I would go over the bike and inspect all the electrical connections, drain and replace all fluids and then ride, baby ride! Not sure if there is a Honda Shop Manual for your bike in the downloads section, but take a look and see.
Cheers!

I opened that one and it says for the vfr750. Would that cover the vfr700 as well or is that a different manual?
Appreciate the help and comments.
Try here too.

The 700 and 750 are the same bike, barring crank, rods and maybe gearing.
