Well as I'm sure you know, with or without your VFR, you're still welcome here, stick around, who knows what life will bring you.
Cheers
I'll second that. Bike in the garage or no, an experienced owner/rider still has a lot to share. So please contribute when you can. Cheers
Good luck ...
To bad Honda doesn't bring the more upright CrossRunner VFR 800 X here. It wouldnt be much lighter but would be way more upright. I also vote for the Yamaha FJ09. Good luck!
There's nothing wrong with being without a VFR. A full-blown touring machine or a cruiser will do just fine.
Last year I took a tour of your GREAT state on my bike. I had been to Michigan before but it was the first time I saw such a significant part of it (Grand Rapids, Lansing, Flint, Detroit, Ann Arbor, Battle Creek, Kalamazoo, and a significant portion of the countryside). I might post some pictures in the Ride Reports section.
Condolences on your physical issues and for being VFRless. I imagine there must be a period of withdrawal. I'm glad you're sticking around. We can use all the input we can get.
enjoy your travels on whatever conveyance it may be!!!
