Seat Cover - Fifth Generation VFR's

I'm considering recovering the seat with this cover from a supplier in Germany,

ebay item number 131432149882

they can customise the stitching and logo colours,just wondered if anyone has done it before and how it turned out, thanks.

Wow, maybe it's my computer, but for a place that does stitching/embroidery for a business that is one of the most poorly formatted ebay ads.  TBH, I would pass on that reason alone.  Who knows what quality and fitment the product they sell has.  Not to mention their company website is a facebook page...  That just screams post sale support.

Check out the Saddlemen seat covers.  Also if you can find something somewhat local to where shipping costs werent an issue you would be better off just getting a new seat.

I'm looking for a cheaper option, idealy I'd like a sargent seat, there is another company in France called Topsellerie, I'll keep looking for now,thanks for the replies.

I've got one of their seat covers.

I can highly recommend it. The quality and fit are fantastic.  I had mine professionally fitted by a local upholsterer.

Hi Saoirse32, i am also going down the seat recovering as well, mainly my pillion part (Sargent) it fell off - dont ask.Taken mine to a local upholsterer who said easy job and cheap as hell. He's also gonna put some gel pads in for me to try, its a lot cheaper than bike seat "specialists".

That's very stylish Steve. Was this a simple cover over the standard foam or was there more to it?

I did mine recently with a cheap eBay cover and it looks a lot lot better than the original ripped one! It's also more comfortable. I sanded the foam very slightly,maybe half a mill, as this breaks the "skin" of the foam from the mold. Apparently. It allows the foam to flex a little more. That, combined with the new lack of a hard and torn cover, did wonders. It also looks nice again.
