I'm working with Raphael to make it fit into my schedule, so I'll probably be there -- and possibly even be able to ride the VFR to the location.

However, I'd presume an NDA is part of it -- the project is "confidential" at this point.

Brian, what are they doing to your bike...? Do they want mine too?

As I understand, it's a throw-a-leg-over for a new model (presumably a KTM, that's who Kiska does design work for).

Maybe they want to talk about the VFR1200 as an example of what not to do?

Unless things changed, no physical vehicle will be available at this time. According to the correspondence I had with Raphael...

"Since 25 years KISKA shows responsible for the motorcycle design of a variety of manufacturers such as KTM, Husqvarna, Triumph, Honda, Opel, CF Moto, Magura, WP..."

So who knows exactly what maker they are representing this time.

I've got a meeting with them on the morning of the 14th of April somewhere in OC. I'm a bit uncertain what this is all about, and a little unsure how well planned it is since they apparently don't have a location picked out yet. He said it would be at a "dealership or other motorcycle hot spot"...whatever that means. I'll check it out since I'm curious now.

Hmmmm...could be a language barrier. Could be that I'm just an idiot. Possibly both.

I don't think a vehicle is part of the plan, as they are coming to my work to talk to me and another rider here with a C14 on two different days, two different time slots. Doubt they'd be hauling a bike around.

Raphael also asked if I knew a R1200RT and a K1300S rider for two other time slots the previous day. I don't think this is a VFR specific event, rather, it appears to be a fact-find for a study for this class of bike. If you're in the Orange County area and are so equipped and inclined, send him your info.

Anybody actually meet with these guys? Raphael set up dates and times with me and a a C14 rider at work, then never showed. Flake.

Hello all. Long time member, low activity lately.

Very interesting. Lots of new sportouring bikes out lately. Maybe Honda is freshing up the ST1300 line, not that it is time or anything.

My spidey sense told me not to go, so I didn't. Would be curious to know if anyone actually met with him.
