I contacted DAM to check out their variations for a new end can for the 1200 and they sent this back.....

Would that look good on a Titanium 1200 or what?
Or there's this....

Think I prefer the first one.
Nice... how much were you quoted?
From DAM:

-matt version: 411,57 euro excl VAT

-Black version: 583,47 euro excl VAT (+2 weeks extra delivery delay )
Black version always with Carbon endcap!
One detachable noise killer is included, you can choose for the CE- noise killer (same noise level then stock exhaust- when installed) or Sport noise killer!(between open and stock noise level- when installed).
Transportation costs for US are 48 euro."
Euro is back up to 1.09 to the Dollar, was as low as 1.05.
I expected to see umbrella girls.
Dam.
Could not be happier with my DAM. Looks great and sounds better. My wife likes the sound of the stock pipe on her VFR1200 but it still sounds like a Honda garden tiller to me.
I like my DAM exhaust, but the DAM logo (see what I did there?) is really fading...
I would stick to the silver/stainless color - not sure that black will fit to the rims, pegs and engine color but hey, always better then stock :bliss:
The second pic, is that a ti can or just aluminum with a cf end cap? Interested and want to know material of the 2nd pic and what it cost.
They only fab the stainless as I'm aware. I believe its just a mat version.
If the canadian dollar ever rebounds some, I think I might pick up one of those
DAMN. Either of those would look quite nice on the black 2013 model.
Or on this haha

I still think satin stainless looks best on the red or blue.

Those prices aren't too bad, now that US$ is so close to parity with Euro. Still a good chunk for change.
Anybody know how easy it is to strip open for re-packing?
Just had an e-mail, both cans due to arrive later this week......looks like a DAM party next weekend! :cheerleader:
And look what was delivered today.....

Hopefully fitting it along with Royston Rockets on Sunday.
If at first you are a little bit underwhelmed by the sound, just be patient. Give it a couple hundred miles, they sound better and better the more miles I put on mine.
So I got off work early today, got home and as it was sunny, decided to wash the 1200 after last weekends rideout.
Then the voices told me to start tinkering and I couldn't help myself.....

Looks real good with that titanium colour.
Ugh... that can is hideous! [image: puke.gif]
Trade you mine for it!

Really like 'DAM' but 2 Questions: Can you run them with panniers attached without burning underside of right-hand box? Do you still need to un-bolt/remove them to remove the rear wheel?
Good sound in this vid of DAM installed on VFR1200.

My exhaust just rocked up this afternoon. Looking forward to getting it fitted and posting some pictures and also a video.
