Hmmm lets see. First i started off as BAD. In my early twenties I became GOOD after the ex and I split. Fast forward about 8 years and I became AWESOME and shortly after EVEN BETTER. Life took a slightly different path and then, just before our son was born we regressed to being BAD. When my son turned three I once again became AWESOME. Fast forward to his 5th birthday and life became EVEN BETTER once again. As of the end of this weekend I think we will be firmly in YAY territory as my wife has passed her Skills portion of her motorcycle license and is on her way to becoming GOOD on her own for the first time.

Since my son is one of my best riding buddies (God we have a great time out on the bike together) we shall soon be at YAY +1 as my daughter now meets the local regs as a passenger and we have acquired a full set of gear for her as well. Hopefully this time next year, once my wife has had some time to practise her skills, we may be able to do the 4 person family rides that both kids (and yes parents as well) have been looking forward to for some time.

Mind you, since we are the proud owners of 2 VFR's, a minivan, two miniature daschunds and 2 kids I guess that means we are WTF, YAY, and HANG ON all at the same time.

You know what they say: A family that ride together stays together. I think it's fabulous your family can share this wonderful experience.

Ride safe.
