Since a few days, when pressing reply or starting a new topic, the buttons are all greyed and cannot be selected

It the switch all the way to the left turn it "ON".

I hovered over mine and it said BBCode Mode.
BINGO!!!!!
Next is to figure out why the stitch functionality on my camera sux......
The curve is reflected correctly, but halg my topcase is missing :unsure:
