Hi All,

I have been a long-time BMW Rider.  Still own a 2013 K1600 GTL.  I wanted a one-up  bike for running around town, and more aggressive riding.  I just picked up a 2013 VFR DCT from Southern Honda in Chattanooga.  They were great!

I have my first 300 miles on the bike.  What a blast!  VFR=FUN.  I wasn't sure if I would like the paddle shifters, but they're great.

I bought the wind deflector windshield, a Coretech tank tail and tank bag.  Looking for a GPS.  Any other options I should consider?

Looking forward to some great riding.

Welcome to the site!

Loads of mod ideas on this forum, as well as farkle recommendations.  My favorite thus far: DAM exhaust. :)

Enjoy!

Welcome.

+1 on the DAM, though I don't have mine anymore.

A hugger for sure (ask me how I know haha), and look into the Guhl re-flash. Really just go ride it a lot and you'll be happy.

Congrats on the new ride. I use a Garmin Nuvi (switching it between car and motorcycle) on the VFR and bag it when it rains....using the same Garmin on the motorcycle for 5 years now with out problems.

Can you tell (show) me how you guys are mounting phone/gps? IOW, What is the mount attached to?

Do a search for "Alternative Ram Mount System" on this site and get the product.  Fits great, looks great, works great and the guy making them is super easy to deal with.

I'd post a link but the site won't let me copy the thread for some strange reason.
