Hello all!

Year five is quickly approaching for the Hog Tie.  I wanted to do something special this coming year, and give as much advanced notice as possible so people can book vacation and everything.  It will be at The Hub Motorcycle Resort in Marble Falls, AR.

The fifth anniversary Hog Tie will be different than the previous rides.  It will be planned, and it will be 6 full days.  Any and all riders are welcome, but organization will be taking place only on VFRD.  Please feel free to bring family/friends.  They must register also.

We will begin the festivities (riding) on a Sunday and end the following Saturday.  One day during the week will include a van rental to go goof off in the area and go zip-lining or see some caves up near Branson or another place nearby.

I will ask for a registration fee for people attending the entire week, and I will handle hotel booking.  Those prices are yet to be determined, but it is looking like $360.00 will cover 6 nights hotel, event registration, dinner for one night, t-shirts, goodie bags and some other freebies.  Likely admission to caves or stuff will be extra.  If you are sharing a room, that cost will drop dramatically.

We will have a whole-hog roast BBQ one night as the group dinner.

There are a few of us trying to put together evening mini-bike races.

There should be kegs of beer provided this go-round.

Schedule will be something like this and is totally subject to change.  Dates are in between Labor day and Bikes Blues and BBQ as we don't want the traffic.

Saturday the 10th, arrive.  Get checked in.  Get goody bags, sign in with me and get a firm schedule of  events.

Sunday the 11th, ride all day NORTH.

Monday the 12th, ride all day SOUTH.

Tuesday the 13th, ride all day EAST.

Wednesday the 14th, ride all day WEST.

Thursday the 15th, Twisty-Butt 500.  This is the more fun version of the iron-butt.  I don't think there will be any additional costs.

Friday the 16th, relax.  Tour the area, see the sights.  Whole hog bbq this evening, awards, lies and give-a-ways.

Saturday the 17th, ride all day, pack and Get Out.  If you want to stay Saturday night, you'll need to get a room for another day.

Naturally, if you cannot make it the entire week, that's fine.  Just understand that the group hotel rate is for 6 nights, and you will pay more per night.  The Hub is raising rates next year, but I have gotten us a good deal for 6-nights.  I think it's about $20/night discount for 6 nights, IF we get 20 rooms minimum reserved.

I need a headcount in the coming weeks, but will update as needed below on post 1.

Hope we can fill the place up!

That is a lot of planning you have done for us.  I'm in.  Gutted I couldn't make it this year, just ran out of time and couldn't get everything prepared last minute.

I think a deposit would be a good idea, no?

This one is on the 2016 calendar so count me in!

Deposit is a good idea. I will get a registration form completed in the coming days to get the ball rolling.

Houston... There is a scheduling problem.

If we keep these dates, I can't make it! I have to be in Chicago for a big manufacturing event. I know some of you have to book vacation a year out... Is it possible to juggle?

We may be going to Deals Gap now. No date is set in stone yet, I'm flexible

I'm in. Is staying in a tent an option?

I'll try to attend whatever the dates... unfortunately, it is difficult to plan that far ahead for me with new product launchs I have no control over timing; all I can do is try to keep my calendar open, the earlier I know the better but it is no guarantee.
