If you have another bike you ride more than occasionally (that's not another VFR), what is it and what does it do for you that the Viffer does not?
What's Your Other (Non-Vfr) Ride?
Honda Hawk GT. I had a Triumph Thruxton and missed it as my cafe racer. Even with tons of mods to the engine and suspension on the Thruxton, The Hawk is on terms with the Thruxton with power and destroys it in the handling dept. I call it "neo- cafe" modern technology with a retro cafe vibe.
Vs. the VFR?
-much lighter
- pick a line, any line you want... it sticks
-stops better
- 75 mph feels like 100+mph
- Raw, and minimalistic. no fairing so you really feel everything. visceral
-sounds like a Harley and its funny to watch people stop, turn their heads thinking its a Harley and then realize "fooled you its a Honda".

2003 Aprilia Tuono, and 2007 Aprilia Tuono. Gen 1, Gen 2.
They have great torque, and make AC DC worthy Thunder!

I know someone turned their VFR into an off-road bike, but I cringe at the thought of dropping it in gravel with all that shiny Tupperware (and the Scottish blood in me runs cold at the thought of replacing it!). So I have a thumper for forest service roads and camping away from the madding crowd:
Mine is a 1995 Ducati Super Sport/SP

Although it doesn't turn as sharp, nor has the HP of either of my VFRs, it has something inside that makes it a fun ride and the sound is on par with the V4, at least to me.
