Heard they were sticking the crossplane in it. Sure looks Transformer-ish.

So since 2009, I've always wished for Yamaha to stick that engine in a more upright naked setup... and now that they've done it, I can't say I like the looks of it. Here's hoping they apply the XSR retro look treatment (XSR900 based on FZ-09 and XSR700 based on FZ-07 are both good-looking).
Yeah, that front end is funky (in a bad way), it reminds me of "5 is alive" from the short circuit movie. I like everything else about the bike.

If you like the VFR800 V4, the crossplane feels exactly like it just with a bunch more power.(firing order the exact same)
I like it better than any Honda engine I've ever owned. Even more than the Twin in my RC, more than my VFR800 and I didn't think that was possible. 170HP and completely linear.
I think it's awesome.
Maybe i can get my boss to upgrade my MT09....
That looks really good
In some of the photos on that site the rider looks to be sitting a bit awkwardly hopefully just hamming it up for the shoot
 I like it...
A lot.
That bike is one nose job away from being absolutely wicked! When I get too old and crippled for the ergonmics of my VFR, I hope I can find a used one that hasn't been wheelied to death.
Looks mean!
