Could Someone Please Loan Me $184,000?

So I went by the local Honda shop this past weekend - took a look at their two 8th gens.  The salesman gave me this article on the new RC213V-S and it was love at first read  :wub: .  So I went to the bank with the article to show them what I'm looking at - just $184,000 - and of all things they turned me down . . . go figure.  :comp13:     Typical - they only want to loan money to people that don't need it.   :dry:     After seeing that Fusar thingy, I thought there might be some other way of financing one of these, so . . .   Yeah, ok  - probably not.  :laugh:

Since the article will have to do, I thought I'd share.  Here's a teaser . . .  The rest is in the hands of the downloads approval gods - hopefully it will be available in a few days.   Happy reading drooling.

There's an NR750 on ebay right now. Maybe the bank will let you have that instead. Drool factor is about the same...for me anyway.

The loan business is a funny one, you'd think you can only get money if you can reasonably assure that you will pay it back in full....

Yes, and it will stomp the neutered US version of the RC213V-s as well. Drool factor is actually more fo me.

Thanks for the pics. As for the loan, I don't see what the problem would be since you would have the bike (collateral) and its value will only increase, right? It is an investment, really.

Yeah, at 4.5% interest for 6 years, the monthly payment is only about $2900 a month!

I don't know if I would ever pay that much for a 100hp bike, but (if I had the money) I would pay even more for the 200hp+ version. It's a gorgeous machine.
