I've got a grinding noise up front when leaving a stop. Likely culprits are front sprocket and/or chain slider. I found a chain slider, but can't seem to find a stock sprocket. Anybody have a link to a supplier? Also, is there really that much difference between the stock (rubber internals) and aftermarket as far as sound and vibration?
Just in case someone else has this issue. $22 and about 20 minutes and problem solved. The twin rings ( assume they were originally soft rubber) were shot. When the chain rubbed against these rings it caused a grinding sound. Popped on a new aftermarket sprocket and problem solved.
