Decatting VFR1200 2010

Hey Guys, new to the Forums, I have had my VFR1200F 2010 since day 1 in 2011. I have done:

- 1/2 gear mod to 3rd gear
- K&N filter
- 2 Bros slip-on with No DB Killer
- Pair Modification
- Power commander 5
- O2 optimizers

Next on the list is the Auto Tune kit and catalytic converter removed.

My question is and I have seen others do it, but how much louder does the exhaust get with the catalytic converted removed and straight pipe in place? I am asking because I had a good talk with Dynojet regarding the Auto Tune kit. If you remove the cat, then you will only need the single O2 sensor Auto tune kit. But If I don't remove the Cat, I will need the dual sensor kit to get readings from both headers. Right now bike is within acceptable noise laws in Edmonton where I live but want to know how much louder will it get by removing the cat. Anyone have any DB numbers or something?

PS. i know there is a real nice write up on this website from others but nobody really mentions how much louder it gets.

Get the single sensor DJ auto tune unit. You will not notice any more noise especially with the DB killer removed. I don't have a two Bros. (I have a Leo Vinci) but in my case removing the DB killer only added 2.5 HP and that was over 9000 RPM's. I did a lot of dyno tuning on my bike and we could not get the de-catted pipe without the DB killer to make anything more than 2.5 more HP and that was only in the range above 9000 RPM's.  

No more noise IMO.  If it added any db's they are negligible.  I removed the cat, welded a SS piece in place (Mechanic did it for me), then got my 1200 dyno tuned, and auto tune added.  Pulls like a raped ape.
