Uughhh ! That chrome finish is unbearably tacky.  :blink:

+1 Chrome does not belong on a sport bike IMO.

agree 100% I hate chrome on most any bike. well exempt maybe a z50 Christmas edition

Granted but then that chrome fetish is a lot less prevalent over here in Old Europe.  :happy:

Besides, a full chrome Hardly is a bit loud for my conservative tastes but nowhere near as stomach turning as that fake plasticky horror.

At least a Hardly is hewn from a solid pig iron ingot so chrome has a function as a protective finish.  :goofy:

Pity because the bike itself is nice.

Lose the chrome bits (all of them), paint the thing some sort of smoked silver or light anthracite (possibly with a satin matte clearcoat), keep the red wheels and you'd have a mean looking machine.

OK. A bit of a Ducati Senna rip-off but mean.

I saw both of these bikes at the NEC Bike Show in Birmingham on Monday.

They are jaw-droppingly gorgeous. The chrome does look wrong in the photo but curiously looked good in the flesh, but that CF one...... :wub:

Have to admit the Carbon Norton was far better at the NEC, the Chrome version just looked really tacky (UK read Chavy).

I'm assuming it's supposed to be a throwback to the old polished tanks? Kind of acceptable in that sense. Maybe it's just knowing how bad-ass it is, but I still want.

The Norton swingarm starts as a 70kg billet that is CNC'd down to the final 3.5kg product.
